Monday 18th September 2017 - The Journey Home

After a fitful nights sleep, waking several times, we surfaced around 8am, cold and unwashed. 5 minutes later we were registering at Freiburg Camping.  Registration was situated in a small bistro/cafe and the smell of fresh coffee drew us like a magnet. After signing in we sat and drank that much needed coffee.

A pleasant enough site, family run, the facilities all appear quite new.  An outside Hell Hole (washing up area) with roof cover and as much steaming hot water as you want.  Same goes for the showers, hot, controllable, powerful and bags of room.

Once set up we breakfasted then sat in the sun. Although cloudy at times, when the sun did appear it felt summer hot, so we sat and caught our proverbial breaths, recharging our batteries, drained by yesterday's trauma.

Later we showered, put on clean clothes and felt a little more human again.

A quiet morning then a trip into town for provisions before our journey to Troyes tomorrow.
