Woke once again to a perfect day, warm, 13 degrees, a light wind and a clear blue sky.  Rain was forecast for later in the day so after an early shower and breakfast we set off into the hills.  It stayed warm despite the wind increasing in strength.

Here's a little piece of video taken whilst on the walk this morning.  Apologies for the wind noise but it did become very windy.

The campsite is situated beside and around the Tennsee lake and our walk began from the site, around the lake

We were back by midday, still sunny, and sat out and read for a while but gradually the cloud increased and by a little after 1 pm it was rain steadily.  It carried on like this for the afternoon and we decided to drive out to our local supermarket, Rewe, and replenish our grocery stock.

Home by 3.30 and sat in and read before an early tea as we are having dinner at the restaurant tonight, entertained, if my translation of the poster is correct, by a Bavarian band.

We shared a table with a German couple who took this picture

A Bavarian band of two it turned out to be, but a great evening, entertained by this duo.  Him on accordion and her on guitar.  They even sang some English songs. We sang along.

Food was good.  We had vegetable strudle and a salad, really nice.

Below is a little surreptitious piece of video I took from our table.
