The sun shone, everything steamed and whilst I dried the awning, Win changed the bed and put together a bag for washing later As with everything else here, the clothes washing room is clean and full of modern washing machines and commercial style dryers. A token is required for the washing machine at a cost of just €3 and the dryers are free. There's also a steam iron, free of course, on an ironing table.
By now the sun was quite hot so we sat out for a while and read before setting off for a walk. The walks in this area are all well marked, even giving the time to each place.
We came from Tennsee and took the path to Mittenwald although we took a further path later to complete the circle. Didn't have our pedometers on so don't know the distance but we walked for just over 2 hours
Out through one of the many pine forests and up onto a plateau surrounded by the mountains .
Tomorrow we're off to Krun to watch the cows being brought down from the mountains for the winter, quite a celebration apparently.
