And again, a beautiful start to the day but at a price.  Outside temperature 3 degrees when we surfaced around 8am with ice on the car and most everything else outside.  No rain forecast for today but threatened for tomorrow and so we decided to take the awning down today whilst it was dry.

The sun shone, everything steamed and whilst I dried the awning, Win changed the bed and put together a bag for washing later  As with everything else here, the clothes washing room is clean and full of modern washing machines and commercial style dryers.  A token is required for the washing machine at a cost of just €3 and the dryers are free.  There's also a steam iron, free of course, on an ironing table.

By now the sun was quite hot so we sat out for a while and read before setting off for a walk.  The walks in this area are all well marked, even giving the time to each place.

We came from Tennsee and took the path to Mittenwald although we took a further path later to complete the circle.  Didn't have our pedometers on so don't know the distance but we walked for just over 2 hours

Out through one of the many pine forests and up onto a plateau surrounded by the mountains .

Tomorrow we're off to Krun to watch the cows being brought down from the mountains for the winter, quite a celebration apparently.
