And, for the third day running, we again woke to a clear sky and a bright warm sun.  We decided we would continue our sightseeing around the centre of Troyes.  We set off a little later than usual as we slept later, then had a cooked breakfast.  We're certainly sleeping better now than the early part of the holiday although I do have some extraordinary dreams, which I can only put down to the amount of cheese we eat. Or maybe it's the water!
                                                                                                         


























Our pedometers recorded a distance of just over 5 miles today as we eased our selves into the chairs, on our return.  Once again we had taken sandwiches and by 2pm, found ourselves alongside the river Seine, so we found a seat, sat in the sun and had our lunch. Picture below is a fountain in the centre of the Seine. We sat on the left bank, or La Rive Gauche as they might say here!
