Supermarket and diesel then sat out before walking along the river\canal. It was a canal many years ago but is now a river, fed by the Seine. Shallow, but obviously clean as there are fish, great and small swimming in it.
Forgot to say there is a swimming pool here, not used a great deal though but we took the opportunity, in the absence of others to grab a quick picture together.
The canal that once was runs down one side of the camp site and along the backs of houses on the main road, so a little bit of countryside in the city.
We've seen ducks, herons and a kingfisher during our walks. There are jays and redstarts on the site too.
